Icelandic Horses

What is special about the Icelandic horses is that they have the three basic gaits: walk, trot and gallop, and two extra gaits: tölt and pace. It is a suitable riding horse for grown-ups and kids due to a height of less than 145cm and maintained pure breed over 1000 years in the fairly harsh climate of Iceland. The tölt can be practised comfortably and convenient but also at a tearing pace. Additionally, pace is a fascinating gait for speed fanatics. The Icelandic horse is ideal for young beginner.

Shetland Pony

The Shetty, traditionally called Sheltty, distinguishes oneself by being strong, robust, frugal, long-living, and intelligent. If taken care well it can reach the age of 40. One might wonder how such a small Shetty can carry more than 60kg. However, back in the days, they were fully supporting the mining industry as pit ponies. Nowadays, they are riding horses for kids or coach horses. By its unique intelligence and desire to cooperate this horse is a good fit for young beginner.
